Mary Ellen Walker Smith, 79, of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Smith was a fun loving, spunky, and giving person. She worked 50 plus years in retail, and retired from Classy Crafts. She also attended Gulf Coast Worship Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Pearly Smith; two infant sons, Kevin Earl Smith and Milton Edward Smith; two sisters, Katie Ruth and Lola Mae; her brother Samuel Dewey, Jr. and her parents Samuel and Lena Walker.
Suvivors include three daughters, Brenda Smith of Gulfport, Mary Ellen Wilson and her husband Richard of Pace, FL, Cheryl Williams and her husband Pedro of Gulfport; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Hwy 49N Gulfport. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Coalville Cemetery in Woolmarket
