Mary "Jayne" Smith, age 67 of Saucier, passed away on October 23, 2018, in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill David Jarrell and Mary Lee Laxton; her daughter, Laura Reeves Tomlinson; her brother, Buster Jarrell; and her sisters, Jo Dixie Conway and Juanita Taylor.
Jayne is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Richard Smith; her children, Lisa Reeves Weber (Daniel), Lonnie "Brian" Reeves (Rachel), Gina Smith Lizana, and Wesley Tyler Helton; siblings, Alice Ison, Alma Herrington, Annie Tynes, and Chris Goar: son-in-law, Stuart Tomlinson; four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Jayne was a legal secretary for 15 years, and a State of Mississippi case worker for Vocational Rehab for 5 years. She was a published poet who had a strong trust in God.
Jayne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and is now joining her daughter, Laura in Heaven.
The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, October 26, 2018, at RIEMANN FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service. Interment will follow at Finley Cemetery, Gulfport.
