Mary Payment

Mary Elizabeth Gordin Payment, 88, of Pass Christian, formerly of Jackson, MS, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Charles Theodore "Ted" Payment and parents, Ann Elizabeth Munson Record and George Bryan Gordin.
She is survived by a daughter, Pam Payment of Hammond, LA; sons, Tim Payment (Kathleen) of Huntsville, AL, and Andy Payment (Meg) of Pass Christian; her brother, George Clark Gordin of Terry, MS; grandchildren, Beth Partain (Jeremy), Ben Payment and Dan Payment (Whitney) of Huntsville, AL; Adam Monteleone (Jamie) of Hammond, LA; and Emily and Charlotte Payment of Pass Christian; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Warren, Teddy and Thomas Partain of Huntsville, AL; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mrs. Payment loved her family and becoming a member of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed simple poetry, yard work, shopping, and bingo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian. A visitation will be held Saturday at 9:00 A.M. until service time at the church. A burial will follow the service at St. Paul Cemetery in Pass Christian.
