Mary C. Pangborn, age 81 and a resident of Picayune, died on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Pangborn had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 7 years and was a member of St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Pangborn is preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Sofie Dackowic Strokosz and her husband, John Pangborn.
She is survived by her adopted family, who loved her dearly in the short time they knew her, Lamar & Gwen Ladner of Kiln, Matthew Ladner of Kiln, and Vicki Williams and her husband Jarred of Gulfport.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 8, 2008 at 11:00am at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church in Pass Christian, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic Church, 27074 St. Matthew Church Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.
