Mary Ellen Mott Lambert was currently a resident of Walker, LA. She went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 29, 2019.
Mary was born in the Handsboro Community in Gulfport, MS on February 24, 1932 and was a longtime resident of Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Nettie Mott; her husband, John Lambert; and her son, Eddie Lambert.
Mary is survived by her children, Mike Lambert and Patricia Lambert of Walker, LA; a grandchild, Krista Lahaye; and 3 great-grandchildren, Albert, Linda, and Mary.
She played the organ for Handsboro UMC. She loved Jesus and her family, her kitties and grumpy cat.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 5th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS, where friends may visit beginning at 12 Noon until the service.
Interment will follow in a private ceremony at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Gulfport.
