Mary Kathryn Beall Johnson, age 79 and a resident of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, May 16, 2008, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Water Valley, MS and had been a resident of Biloxi since 1958. She was co-owner/operator, with her late husband, Robert Johnson, Sr., of Southern Camper Sales in Biloxi. She was also an active member of Fernwood Baptist Church where she was the treasurer of her Sunday School Class.
Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Bishop & Katie Harris Beall; her husband, Robert Glenn Johnson, Sr., and her three brothers, Charles Beall, Ernest Bishop Beall, and Earl Beall.
She is survived by her loving children, Roseanne (Tihomir Anton) Johnson-Fazo of Biloxi, Robert Glen (Robbin) Johnson, Jr., of Biloxi, Paul (Joy) Johnson of D'Iberville, and Tim (Cindy) Johnson of Gulfport; eight grandchildren, April Thomas, Christopher Johnson, Cory Johnson, Heather Nguyen, Amber Johnson, Josh Johnson, Tiffany Johnson LeBlanc, and Matthew Johnson; eight great grandchildren, Wesley Lognion, Lydia Edwards, Kyliegh Nguyen, Morgyn Nguyen, Dominic Johnson, Jaedyn LeBlanc, Peyton LeBlanc, and Kitana Thomas; one great great granddaughter, Natalia Lognion; and several nephews, nieces and other loving family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at 2:00pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Cemetery in Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Fernwood Baptist Church, 2307 E. Pass Road, Gulfport, MS 39507.
