Mrs. Mary Lenette Howard, age 76, resident of Pass Christian, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2009, in Pass Christian.
Mrs. Howard was a native of Newton County and graduated from Decatur High School. She has been a resident of the Coast for 45 years. She attended Riverside Baptist Church, where she was the former pianist. She formerly worked for the City of Pass Christian as an administrative assistant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin Lee Vaughn and Elizabeth Harris Vaughn,
She is survived by her three children, Rebecca McSparrin and her husband John of McHenry, William Douglas Howard, Jr. of Diamondhead, and Gerald Lee Howard of Pass Christian; three grandchildren, Samantha and Jennifer McSparrin, and Lee Howard; and great grandchild, Ila Howard.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at 10 am at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
