Mary Anne Henderson, age 75, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Henderson was born in Selma, AL and raised in Houston, TX. She was a huge football and baseball fan, especially the Dallas Cowboys. She was an Air Force wife and traveled with her husband, and later they enjoyed traveling in their RV. She was an active member and was president of both the Officers Wives Club and Protestant Women of the Chapel. She was also a member of Pass Road Baptist Church.
Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh Lawley Binford and Annie Binford Knudsen; and her brother, Hugh L. Binford, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William J. Henderson, Jr. of Gulfport; her children, Holly Henderson of Gulfport, William """"Bill"""" J. Henderson, III of Johnson City TN, and Nancy L Carroll of Biloxi; three grandchildren, Julian Carroll, Maggie Henderson and Brett Carroll; and one great grandchild, Emma Rose Carroll.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made to Quality Hospice, 15164 Dedeaux Road Ste B, Gulfport, MS 39502.
Funeral services will be held at 10:15 A.M. Monday, February 11, 2008 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, where friends may visit from 9:00 to 10:15 A.M. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
