Mary Garlotte

Mary Jane Olive Garlotte, born August 16, 1931 in Pass Christian, went to join her husband, Lewis J. Garlotte, Jr., and her three sons, Michael Joseph Garlotte, Daniel Jerome Garlotte, and Bryan Garlotte, in the arms of her Savior on February 15, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sons, her parents, and a brother.
Mrs. Garlotte is survived by her children, Anthony (Tony) Lewis Garlotte and Elsie Christine Cisneros, both of San Antonio, TX, Rita Ann Sadler of Long Beach, Glenda Ruth Vargas of Ocean Springs, Rebecca Lynn Shackelford of Long Beach, Melba Pipkin of Gulfport, and Betty Jane Weeks of Birmingham, AL; her sisters, Lillian Johnson of Robertsdale, AL, Lola Sharma of West Linn, OR, Rosie Alexander of Long Beach, Barbara Ferrell of Knoxville, TN, Joan Ford of Long Beach, and Linda Ford of San Francisco, CA; a brother, Wayne Ford of Pass Christian; ten grandchildren, Brian H. Garlotte, Jeremy Lally, Kassi Cain, Brandy Herron, Eddie Fallin, Jessica Harter, Erica Weeks, Tyler Weeks, Tiffany Kapourellos, and Greg Kapourellos; and eleven great grandchildren, Michael Garlotte, II, Isabelle Garlotte, Sophie Claire Garlotte, Hunter Fitts, Kain Lally, Jillian Cain, Ragan Herron, Jackson Cain, Peyton Herron, Logan Herron, and Michael Harter.
She was born and raised a Baptist and practiced her faith all of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her greatest pleasures in life were all of her children and grandchildren. Her loving ways, strong convictions, and moral values will live on.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach. The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
