Mary Ann Deschamp, age 71, of the Dedeaux Community, Pass Christian, MS passed away on May 3, 2009, in Pass Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Purvis and Premila (Jack) Ladner; and two children, Kathleen Deschamp and Ruben Deschamp, Jr.
She is survived by her husband of 54 1/2 years, Ruben A. Deschamp; her son, Benford (Michelle) Deschamp of Kiln, MS; her daughters, Karen (Chubby) Pace of Poplarville, MS, Andrea (Jake) Winstead of Ocean Springs, MS, Donna Sue Deschamp, and Merith Ann Lewis, both of Pass Christian, MS; three sisters, Eva Gay McKay of Kiln, Mearle Dean Cuevas, and Geniva Necaise, both of Lizana; seven brothers, Garvis Ladner, Auston Ladner, Reginald Ladner, all of Lizana, Revernald Ladner, Jason Ladner, Earnest Ladner and Levell Ladner, all of Pass Christian; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty seven great grandchildren.
She will be missed by all.
Mrs. Deschamp was a housewife and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to camp and fish and boasted about catching more fish than her husband. She loved to quilt and play cards with her friends. She loved life.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at 1:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, where family and friends may visit from 9:00 AM until service time. A Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Standard Sandhill Cemetery.
