Christine Conn

Mary Christine Conn, age 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on January 1, 2025.

She was born in Pass Christian, Mississippi on April 8, 1945 and was a lifelong resident.

She was married in 1961 to Lucius “L.D.” Conn, Jr. and raised two daughters, Renee and Connie. Together they owned and operated Conn Construction Mechanical for 21 years, until Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Christine loved taking care of her home, boating, golfing, traveling, eating out and shopping. She also liked to dabble in painting. She loved cooking and hosting for her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Mary Ladner and her brother, Christopher Caccioppo. 

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, LD Conn, Jr.; two daughters, Renee Stiger (Scott) of Pass Christian, Connie Johnson (Mike) of Long Beach; four grandchildren, Blaine Stiger (Emileigh), Colby Stiger (Ashley), Bryce Johnson (Amber), Dylan Johnson; eight great-grandchildren, Anabelle Jordan, Marleigh Ellis, Nola Ellis, Sailor Ellis, Cruz Stiger, Lilly Johnson, Ethan Stiger and Dawson Johnson; two sisters, Gloria Kirschenheuter, Gwendy Goldman (Larry); and one brother, Glen Ladner. 

Services will be private.
