Mary Alice Pequeno Smith, age 77, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at her residence in Bay St. Louis.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joaquin and Concepcion Pequeno; husband, Jack Smith; son, Antonio Guzman, IV; brother, Leondro Pequeno; sister, Guadalupe Wilty; sister, Norma Pequeno; sister, Virginia Boyce; great grandbaby, Bubby Smith.

She is survived by son, Michael Smith (Donna); daughter, Tracey Leonard (David); sister, Cecelia Briseno (Frank); brother, Jose Pequeno; brother, Daniel Pequeno (Eileen); brother, Joaquin Pequeno (Connie); brother-in-law, Nick Boyce; sister in- laws, Natalia Pequeno, Judy Lanning , and Janet Kloss; 8 grandchildren, Shannon, Antonio, Amias, Michael, Jessica, Maegan, Jessica, and Angele; great-grandchildren, Antonio, Rowyn, Julien, Gunner, Gabrielle, Buddy, Gage and Lyric; and extended family, Daniel, Mai, and Chrissy.

A visitation will be held from 10:00AM until 11:30Am on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 141 US-90, Waveland, MS. A Prayer service will be held at 11:30AM following the visitation in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the service at Biloxi National Cemetery.
