Martin Paul """"Marty"""" Harris, 58, of Diamondhead died Friday, March 2, 2007 in Gulfport.
He was a native of New York and has been a resident of the coast for 11 years. Mr. Harris owned and operated Crazy Marty's Waterbed Store in New Orleans and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Waveland. He was a spirit filled Jewish Christian who enjoyed giving to various children's charities at Christmas. He was a good salesman and an avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Harris, and his adoptive mother, Shirley Harris.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Harris, Diamondhead, his mother, Shirley O'Donnell, Berplanck, NY, a son, Brandon Harold George Harris, Diamondhead, and his best friend, Larry Marram, Diamondhead.
The funeral service will be 10 am Monday, March 5, 2007 at First Assembly of God Church, Waveland. Friends may visit from 9 -10 am.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery @ Rotten Bayou.
