Martha L. Moffett, 87, of Gulfport, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2015 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Moffett was a bookkeeper for Moffett's Standard Service and a hardware clerk for TG&Y and a homemaker. She enjoyed fishing, reading and crocheting blankets for her grandchildren and was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, R.D.Moffett, parents, Robert and Valda Powell and brother, Robert L. Powell.
Survivors include her children, Joe Moffett (Margy), Kathi Burton (Denny), Jerel Moffett (Beth), Karen Holland (David), Robert Moffett (Lisa) and Martha Coble; sister, Bernice Stewart; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
The family thanks the staff of Gulfport Care Center for the care and comfort provided to our mother and grandmother. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
The funeral service will be held at 11am, Saturday, April 4th with visitation from 10 to 11am, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Tributes may be offered at www.riemannfamily.com
