Martha Sue Grimes

Mrs. Martha Sue Grimes, age 77, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011, after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Grimes was born in Columbus, GA to Jesse J. and Meacy Fincher Morgan. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was an animal lover and enjoyed gardening. She will be remembered most for her sweet, loving, selfless personality.
Mrs. Grimes was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Grimes and her parents.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Herman Grimes; sister-in-law, Janice McInnis (John); brother-in-law, Jack Grimes (Kitty); brother-in-law, Larry Grimes; brother-in-law, Royce Grimes (Lou); sister-in-law, Joan Parish (Jackie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, from 6-8 p.m.
Visitation will also be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Vance Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL from 6-8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2011, at Vance Funeral Home at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow at Summerset Cemetery in Phenix City.
