Marlene Kay """"Mar"""" Thomas, age 71 and a resident of Iowa, passed away January 6, 2009, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil W. Sturch and Ramona I. Saul.
Survivors include her husband Turtle Thomas, of Waterloo, IA; children: William """"Billy"""" Thomas, of Biloxi, Christine Blackmear, of Waterloo, IA, and Ramona Reyes of Waterloo, IA; her twin sister Charlene Shaw, of Waterloo, IA; 6 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Thomas was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Euansdale, IA and Cedar Lake United Methodist Church. She enjoyed oil painting, computers, and camping. She also loved spending time with her great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport, is in charge of arrangements.
