Mr. Mark Edward """"Whiskers"""" Wentworth, age 63, resident of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2009, in Long Beach.
Mr.Wentworth was a native of New York, and served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He lived on the Coast most of his life, where he worked at Plant Jack Watson for 33 years. He enjoyed his Harley Davidson and riding with the Asgards, of which he was a respected member. He spent countless hours volunteering for local charity events. He was also a volunteer fireman with the Long Beach Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Francis and Mary Anne Wentworth.
Mr. Wentworth is survived by his daughters, Jamie Kaye Stanford of Long Beach and her husband Wayne, and Jennifer Lynn Wentworth of Biloxi; grandchildren, Chelsea Martin, Cameron Stanford, Jason Paul Fountain, Emily Anne Fountain, and Samuel Evan Fountain; aunt, Sally Rush of Schenectady, NY.
Memorial services may be held at a later date.
