Mark Steven Praznovsky, 65 of Pass Christian passed away peacefully on June 23, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 16, 1959 in Endwell, NY to the late Steven & Joan Praznovsky. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, David Praznovsky.
Mark grew up in upstate New York and graduated from High School. After high school Mark enlisted in the United States Navy. During which he was stationed here on the coast. This is where he met Rebecca from the Gulf Coast in 1982, and were later married on October 4, 1985. After marriage, Mark was Honorably Discharged from the Navy and decided to move to Nashua, New Hampshire where they resided for 25 years. Mark was as an electrician by trade and worked on a variety of projects throughout New England.
Then in 2005 they decided to retire and move back to the Mississippi Gulf Coast to be closer to family. This is where Mark got involved with the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies (IMMS). Mark enjoyed a lot of the finer pleasures in life to a good meal and a fine cigar. He also enjoyed being in the outdoors going fishing and boating. He was a loving and caring individual who had a heart of gold, and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mark is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Rebecca Praznovsky; and brother John (Lorianne) Praznovsky of Ayer, Massachusetts. Mark also leaves behind to cherish his memory a host of friends and extended family.
Cremation services have been chosen and the family wishes to have services private.
