Marion Cox

Marion D. Cox, age 84, of Diamondhead, passed away on February 22, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Cox; his step-son, Timothy Dozier; his parents, Jesse and Seldon Cox; and a sister, Jessie Mae Smith.
He is survived by his girlfriend, Denise Young; his children, Lynn Cox, Donna Britt, Chuck Dozier, Chris Cox, and Sherry Dozier; his siblings, John Paul Cox and Dottie Cox; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
Mr. Cox served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and dancing.  He worked as a bridge builder in the construction for many years.
A graveside service will be at 12:30 pm Friday, March 2, 2018, at the Biloxi National Cemetery.
