Marion Virginia Block, age 82, of Gulfport, MS passed away June 11, 2012 in Gulfport.
She worked at Wal-Mart on Highway 49 in Gulfport for approximately 20 years.
Mrs. Block was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby and Edgar Herrin.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori Thomas and her fiance' James Brown of Ocean Springs; her son, Steven Block of Gulfport; and her sister, Jean Herrin of Paris, TN.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:00 am at Poplar Grove Cemetery in Springville, TN.
The family would like to thank Dr. Allison Wall, and the staff of Canon Hospice for their care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
