Mrs. Marion Kwiatkowski Becker, age 78, resident of Long Beach passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2007, at her home.
Born in Schenectady, NY to the late John and Monica Sarnacki Kwiatkowsky, Mrs. Becker was a former secretary for General Electric, the U.S. Navy, the Army Depot, and the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and enjoyed reading, knitting, and ceramics. Mrs. Becker was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter.
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John D. Becker of Long Beach; children, Ann-Marie Cassibry of Kathleen, GA and her husband Roy, and Mary-Ann Miller of Gulfport, MS and her husband, Ray; sister, Lorraine Kwiatkowski of Schenectady, NY; grandchildren, Michael and Kristina Cassibry and Breezi Miller.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2007, at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Daugherty Road, Long Beach, at 11:00 a.m., where friends may visit one hour prior to mass. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
