Marilyn Marre’ Lacy of Gulfport, 92, passed away Sept. 7, 2020.

She was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, aunt and friend.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Paul A. Lacy Jr.; and her parents, William and Marion Marre’.

She is survived by her two sons: William (Bill) Lacy and his wife, Linda Lacy, of Manassas, Va.; and Michel David Lacy and his wife, Carol Lacy, of Gulfport; four grandchildren – Shaun Lacy, Zaq Lacy, Bethany Holida and Blake Lacy – and four great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lacy was born in Jersey City, N.J., on April 18, 1928.

She was a graduate of Moss Point High School and Perkinston Junior College (Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College) and attended Mississippi Southern College (the University of Southern Mississippi).

She was past Matron of Coast Chapter No. 51 Gulfport Order of Eastern Star; a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Gulfport; member of Presbyterian women; council member; choir member; and member of the Gulf Coast Symphony Guild.

A private graveside service was held in the Long Beach City Cemetery, and there will be a celebration of her life in the near future.
