Mrs. Marie Breaux Rosetti, age 93, of Handsboro, entered her heavenly rest on March 31, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Rosetti was a native of Carencro, La., and had been a Gulfport resident for over 80 years. She and her husband were the owners and operators of Rosettis Grocery on Pass Road in Handsboro for 39 years. Mrs. Rosetti is a member of St. James Catholic Church in Gulfport.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabelle Breaux; her husband, Vincent Paul Rosetti; her brothers David aÌâÅBullaÌâ Breaux , Raoul aÌâÅPleckaÌâ Breaux, and Maurice Joseph Breaux, all of Gulfport; and Felix Breaux, of Carencro, La., her sisters, Laurence Breaux Guidry, of Carencro, La., Mrs. Gene (Ora) Wescovich of Pass Christian; a nephew, William Guidry, of Carencro, La., and a grandson, George Michael (Mike) Rosetti of Gulfport.
She is survived by her sons, John (Vivian) Rosetti and George F. (Claudetta) Rosetti, both of Gulfport; her daughters, Isabelle (Mike) Bishop of Long Beach; and Diann (Cliff) Ladner of Ocean Springs; her grandchildren, Renee (Mike) Lizana of Slidell, La; Matthew Rosetti of Gulfport, Michelle (Dwayne) Parker of Gulfport; Melinda (Joe) Spence of Pass Christian; Paul (Melanie) Bishop of Long Beach; Barbara (Scott) Lemon of Ocean Springs; Tony (Penny) Bishop of Pass Christian; Mark (Ava) Ladner of Ocean Springs; Neil Ladner of Gulfport; and 17 great grandchildren .
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 12:00 noon at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport, where family and friends may visit from 10:00 AM until service time. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Gulfport.
The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the rebuilding fund for St. Thomas Catholic Church, PO Box 1529, Long Beach, MS. 39560.
