Marie Irby Jameson, born April 27, 1927, died on Saturday, September 10, 2011.
She was a native of New Augusta, MS and was raised in Gulfport. Marie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Jameson. She is survived by her two sons, Jim (Lynn) Jameson of Mobile, AL, & Gary (Martha) Jameson of Gulfport; one daughter, Ruth Horlock (Steve) of Gulfport; and one brother, Joseph Irby (Ruth) of Gulfport; also, 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandsons. She had three brothers who fought in and survived World War II.
A graveside service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, September 13, 2011 and will be handled by RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, Gulfport.
The family would like to express its gratitude to the many employees of Driftwood Nursing Home. Their outstanding efforts to make the time there as comfortable as possible for both the family and her will not be forgotten.
