Marie Hamilton

Marie Hamilton, age 89, of Long Beach, passed away on August 6, 2013 in Long Beach. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Hudson B. Hamilton of Long Beach; two daughters, Kathleen Hamilton Hicks of Long Beach and Linda Hamilton of Honolulu, HI; two grandchildren, Christopher Hicks (Kelli) and Ryan Hamilton (Lynda); and six great grandchildren, Conner, Kody, and Cameron Hicks and Raegan, Taylor, and Kennedi Hamilton.
She was a longtime member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved to cook and her two grandchildren, Christopher and Ryan, will always remember her fabulous creamed corn.
The family would like to thank her loving family, kind neighbors, and dear friends and Mia and Cynthia of Gentiva Hospice for their care and kindness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 2:00 PM at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from Noon until the Mass. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
