Marie M. Evans, age 82, of Biloxi, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 14, 2008.
She left a devoted and loving husband, Joseph M. Evans. They were married for 52 years. She has a daughter, Patricia Evans Sims; a son, Samuel C. Evans and wife Marsha; five grandsons, Justin P. Sims, Adams L. Sims, Bryan J. Sims, Shane C. Evans and Robert J. Evans; two sisters, two brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was retired from the Federal Civil Service, and a past Matron of the Ann Grayson Chapter, of the order of Eastern Star, Biloxi. She was a skilled hobbyist, loved ceramics, crocheting, cake decorating, quilting and gardening. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of D'Iberville.

Mrs. Evans was sent from RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, in Biloxi, to Colonial Chapel in Bay Springs, MS where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. Visitation will be held from 11am until service time of 1pm.
