Marie Lucille Hartnett Davidson, 95, died Friday, August 17, 2007 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Davidson was born in Greenville, MS February 2, 1912 and was a resident of Vicksburg for 35 years and resided in Gulfport for 20 years.
Marie's family will forever cherish her loving and giving ways. She walways made time to prepare a special meal, sew a beautiful garment, or nuture with a special touch. """"Nanny"""" will be remembered as a true fairy tale grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 66 years, Donald G. Davidson.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (JC) McGuire, Gulfport, 7 grandchildren, Patricia Wilson, Woolmarket, Michael McGuire, Perkinston, Nancy Allen, Austin, TX, Mitzi McGuire, Oklahoma City, OK, Jimmy McGuire, Hattiesburg, Denise Maggard, Gulfport, and Shirley Saucier, Latimer, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday from 10 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road. The funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
