Maricela Vega

Mrs. Maricela Vega, age 44, of Biloxi, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Gulfport after a battle with cancer.
Maricela was a great daughter, a lovely sister, a caring mother, and a wonderful wife. She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
Maricela was a great entrepreneur in the restaurant industry as she and her husband owned and operated El Rancho Mexican Restaurants. She was a very godly woman and an active member of the Spanish Ministry of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Angel Vega; and 3 siblings, Juana Vega, Gustavo Vega and Ubaldo Vega.
She is survived by her loving husband of 21 years, Enrique Vanegas; her two children, Henry and Marisol; her mother, Elena Vega; her 17 siblings, Jaime, Eva, Fernando, Jose Armando, Ramiro, Gabriel, Altogracia, Miquel, Bertha, Gilberto, Juventino, Benjamin, Laura Elena, Sergio, Angel and Apolinar; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Her best friend, Yolando Johnson says of Maricela, ""She was an open-hearted, thoughtful person. I will miss you, friend"".
Friends are invited to visit the family after 6:30 p.m., Friday, March 7 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Saturday, March 8 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church where friends may visit from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon.
Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
