Marian Virginia Bobinger Young

Mrs. Marian V. Young, age 75 and a resident of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2012, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Young was a native and lifelong resident of Gulfport and was a member of Biloxi River Baptist Church. She retired from the Harrison County School System after 35 years of service as a school bus driver and a bus aid.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Annie Anderson Bobinger and her sister, Geraldine Bobinger.
Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Gregory L. (Teresa) Young of Gulfport; her brother, Chevis (Judy) Bobinger of Gulfport; her nephew, Chad Bobinger of Gulfport; her nieces, Brandie Bobinger of Gulfport and Lisa McQueen of Gulfport; her grandchildren, Kasey Atkinson of Richland and Ashley (Bruno) Clark of Florence; her great grandchildren, Kaleb Atkinson of Florence and Mallery Camp of Richland and her great niece, Cadence Bobinger McQueen of Gulfport.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012, from 6pm-9pm at Biloxi River Baptist Church, 13340 Rene Avenue in Gulfport.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012, at 10:00am in the church's sanctuary, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, assisted the family with arrangements.
