Margie Gremillion

Margie W. "Jill" Gremillion, age 82, of Long Beach, MS, passed away on February 16, 2017. Jill was a dedicated and caring Registered Nurse. Early in her career she served as the Directors of Nursing at Miramar Lodge Nursing Home in Pass Christian and Driftwood Nursing Center in Gulfport. Later she worked as a staff R.N. with Memorial Hospital and Garden Park Medical Center in Gulfport and Methodist Hospital in New Orleans.
Jill was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her son, Lester Kenneth Padgett, Jr., and her mother, Doris G. Aucoin. She is survived by her two daughters, Shawn Danette Gremillion (Les Rude) of Gulfport and Gwen Padgett Brantley (Zane) of Coppell, TX; two grandchildren, John Padgett (Leah) of Long Beach and Carmen Danette Brantley of Coppell, TX; and her sister, Fayetta Ballard of Deer Park, TX.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Jackson County Humane Society at 4400 Audubon Ln. Gautier, MS 39553. The family wishes to extend their sincerest appreciation to the nursing staff at Driftwood Nursing Center for their many kindnesses and the love and support they provided Jill. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport, MS.
