Margie Schaeffer Cuevas, age 76 and a resident of Long Beach, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2009.
Mrs. Cuevas graduated from St. John High School in Gulfport and retired from Bell South Phone Company after 25 years of service.
Mrs. Cuevas was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Marguerite Schaeffer. Survivors include her 4 children, Cinde Cuevas Weaver (Al), Bruce Cuevas, Ronald Cuevas (Carol) and Sandra Cuevas (Bradley Johns); 2 sisters, Shirley Wilson and Merlyn Castiglia; and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach. The funeral service, officiated by Fr. Louie Lohan of St. Thomas Parish, will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Gardens. The guestbook may be signed at www.riemannfamily.com.
