Margie Marie Crosby age 98, a native and resident of Foxsworth in Marion County, MS passed away on Monday, October 5, 2020 in her home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eliza Boyles; her husband, Fred Crosby; sisters, Argie Burstein, Ema Lou Mullins; brothers, Hertis Boyles, and Glyn Boyles; and her son, Kenneth W. Crosby, Sr.
Margie is survived by her children, Ronnie Crosby (Peggy), and K. Wayne Crosby, Jr. (Melissa); her siblings, Bessie Evans, Virginia Nichols, and Rachel May (Walter); grandchildren, Amanda Crosby, Alyssa Pearce, Christian Spiers, Todd Crosby (Sara), Julie Clifton (Kevin), Ginger Smith (Scott), and Greg Crosby; twelve great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
She graduated from KoKomo High School, was the housing clerk for the SeaBee Base for many years. After retirement, Margie dearly loved babysitting. She also enjoyed cooking for guest, visiting with family and friends, being around children and traveling.
She was a member of The First United Methodist Church, a member of the “Red Hat Society”, volunteered with a jail ministry to help inmates learn to read, and a member of “The Toastmistresses”, and was a retired federal employee.
Margie touched many lives in her lifetime. She was lovingly devoted to her family and will be deeply missed by all.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. She will be laid to rest in Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport.
