Margaret Ladner
The Matriarch
Her first love was her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ, then her family and friends.
A mom too many throughout her life, she was a coach on and off the field, she was admired and respected by her basketball and softball family and was instrumental in shaping the lives of so many.
A daughter to a daddy and she walked in his footsteps on a daily basis. Being the oldest girl with four brothers she had to be strong and carried that trait throughout her life. A daughter to a mama and exhibited her same strength and courage. They shared a love of gardening and chickens. She was a sister that was always there for her siblings no matter the need. They were always bound by love and sharing good times and bad and she was always the protector of everyone.
The title that molded her patience, strength, and courage was that of mama. Her love for her children was foremost in her daily life. The utmost request she made of her children was for them to be saved so they would all reunite one day in Heaven.
A maw maw that loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with her whole heart, but made it clear, she was the “boss”. She looked forward to every visit they shared.
She was immensely happy when looking at old cars, planting a garden, fishing, watching the Atlanta Braves, and most of all adorning her collection of hats.
If you had the opportunity to share a moment of time with her, you would feel blessed to know the person she was.
