Margaret Cuevas, age 79, of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 29, 2024, in Gulfport, MS. She was born on December 4, 1944, to the late Clarence Edward Webster and Viola (Cospelich) Mioton.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Sonny Cuevas, two sons-in-law Desi Ladner and Rick David Kihneman, five brothers, one sister, and one great-grandson Zaylar Micheal Bates.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church on Main Street in Bay St. Louis, MS. Margaret enjoyed sewing, Mardi Gras, eating boiled crabs, cooking, and feeding many people who were sometimes down on their luck.
Margaret leaves her cherished memories to her loving children Andrew Frank Genna, Vickey Lynn Kihneman, Rachel Eliza Genna, and Viola Ladner (Greg); sisters Lori Lightell, Priscilla “Prissy” Powers, Lucinda Webster, Linda Beggs, and Elizabeth “Liz” Ramirez; grandchildren Justin Genna, Mark Bates Jr. (Samantha), Jessica Rogers (Donald), Tres Ladner (Stormie) and Jazmyn Gaude (Jay); great-grandchildren Leigha, Brodie, Desli, Reid, Coven, and Karma; lifelong friend Kathy Duhon Waltman; as well as numerous other family members.
The family will receive friends 11:00 am- 1:00 pm, Friday, February 2, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, 141 Main Street, Bay St Louis, MS 39520. The funeral services will follow the visitation at the church at 1:00 pm. The interment will be in the Bayou La Croix Cemetery in Bay St Louis, MS.
