Margaret Ann Chappell

Margaret Ann Chappell, 65 of Gulfport passed away on January 31, 2024 at Memorial Hospital.  She was born on December 25, 1958 in St Louis, Missouri.  She is preceded in death by her husband, James Chappell; parents, Richard & Pacita Huffman.

Margaret enjoyed collecting anything that had unicorns on it.  She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Margaret worked at Winn Dixie for over 20 years and loved all her coworkers.  She had a good sense of humor and whit with her stories.  Margaret will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Tina (Joseph) Leonard of Gulfport; bonus daughters, Candy (Rodney) Nix, Brandy Hale, and Jamie Chappell, all of New Albany, MS; brothers, Ray (Cathy) Huffman, Richard (Carol) Huffman, and Randy (Sonja) Huffman all of New Albany, MS; grandchildren, David, Cassie, Cody, Jessica, Katie, James, Brianna, and A.J.   Margaret also leaves behind to cherish her memory 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
