Margaret Leidigh Case of Gulfport, died on Thursday, July 19, 2012, in Gulfport.
She was born on July 30, 1936, in Saucier, and remained a resident of the Gulf Coast for 75 years. She was an active member of the Gulfport Church of the Nazarene for many years, where she was an active Sunday School Teacher and Board Member. She retired from Memorial Hospital after 33 years of service. Although Margaret was physically handicapped later in life, she lived an active church and social life serving the Lord.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Vern Case; her parents, Homer Will Leidigh Sr. and Florence Hopper Leidigh; her brothers-in-law, Jewel Case and Cecil Case and one nephew, Kevin Case.
Margaret is survived by her two loving brothers, Homer Will Leidigh Jr. and Henry Herman Leidigh and her very special sister-in-law, Jenny Leidigh. Margaret is also survived by her brother-in-law, Dr. Trelillis Case, her sister-in-law, Melavee Case, four nieces, Becky (Terry) Ladner, Amy (Steve) Rodriguez, Karen (Gerry) Crawford, Kelly Case; her three nephews, Kevin Case, Tony (Nanny) Leidigh, Chuck (Cindy) Leidigh, and her loving caregiver, Ruth Ann Lynch.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 10:00am at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
