Marcus L. """"Mark"""" Ward, age 51, a resident of Destin, FL passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2009 in Ft. Walton Beach.
Mr. Ward was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Long Beach. He was a finish carpenter and Maintenance Supervisor at the Marriott Residence Inn, Destin. His favorite past time was spending time with his family. He loved music, the beach and water.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Shari L. Ward, of Destin FL; his parents, Wayne and Marie Ward of Long Beach, MS; his children, Ashley Lynn Ward and Lindsey Nicole Ward, both of Destin, and John C. Lestrade and his wife, Ashley, of Metarie, LA; his brother, Steve W. Ward and his wife, Sonia, of Pass Christian;a grandchild, Adalyn Rose Lestrade; and numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, from 10am until 11am at the First United Methodist Church, Long Beach. The funeral service will be held at 11am at the church. Burial will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
