Marc Joseph Smothers, age 53 and a resident of Ocean Springs, died on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, in Ocean Springs.
Marc was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Andrew and Lillie Ruth Patterson Smothers; his brother, Kenneth Elwood and a grandson, James Davis.
Marc is survived by his sister, Yolande Pierce of Foley, AL; his daughters, Priscilla (Brian Hayes) Davis of Ocean Springs and Alexis (Albert) Dice of St. Martin; his stepsons, John (Pam) Southworth of Big Point and Jesse Agar of Lucedale; his dear friend and spouse, Tina Smothers of Lucedale; his friend, Mary Johnson of Ocean Springs; his grandchildren, Haleigh Davis and Blake Davis of Ocean Springs, Dvan Dice of St. Martin, Jon Southworth, Kenny Southworth, and Lilly Agar all of Montana; his nephew, Jimmy (Amanda) Pierce of Foley, AL; his niece, Heather Pierce of Foley, AL; his great nephews, Drew Pierce, Evan Pierce, and Riley Pierce and his great nieces, Desiree Pierce, Chloe Pierce, and Ally Pierce.
A Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2011, at 2:00pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road in Biloxi, where family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
