With great sorrow, we announce that Marazona Dawn (Brown) Loree, aged 35, gently passed from this world on February 6th, 2021 in the home she shared with her beloved family located in Saucier, Mississippi.
Marazona made her debut into this world on February 16th, 1985 in Pocahontas, Arkansas. She had a good childhood growing up with her beloved parents who are still married to this day. Marazona married after graduating in 2003 from Horn Lake High School in Horn Lake, Mississippi just a few miles short of Memphis, Tennessee. During that marriage, Marazona blessed the world with her first two beautiful children, Hunter and Haeven. Later, fate had other plans, and Marazona found herself in Southern Mississippi where she met the love of her life, Rikki Loree. She loved Rikki “to the moon and back,” and they were married on October 6th near Horn Lake, Mississippi. Rikki and Marazona built a life together having many beautiful moments over the years including the birth of their son, Rikki David, in the year 2015.
Marazona was one of a kind. From being named after the wife of country singer, Marty Robbins, to her undying love of Rock-n-Roll, Marazona was a unique soul. She was tough as a farmer’s work-boots and as sweet as a glass of iced tea. She had a beauty that quickened heartbeats and a personality that endeared those to her who had the privilege of knowing her. Marazona was a country girl to the bone. There was nothing she loved more that good times with family and friends, whether that was watching the ball game, jamming to music by a bonfire, going mudding, hitting the local pub with friends - her sultry, raspy voice belting out Janis Joplin's ‘Me and Bobby McGee' at karaoke night, or simply spending a quiet night at home watching the latest MARVEL film cuddled up with her husband, Rikki. Though she had moved to Mississippi years prior, Marazona never lost her love of Arkansas and cheered on the University of Arkansas Razorbacks football team every season. She rocked Razorback gear with her country girl swagger in full effect year-round. A hoodie with a ball cap covering her beautiful, blonde hair tied high in a pony tail while black eye liner made her baby blues pop was Marazona's signature look. There will never be another quite like her.
Above all, Marazona was a mother who dearly loved her children. She wanted nothing more than to be the mother that they deserved and for them to be happy. May she rest in peace now with those who crossed before her, including her beloved friend Carla R. Hawkins and her Grandma and Grandpa Naylor - whom we know she is now holding tight in her arms – a huge smile on her beautiful face as she greets dear friends and family in heaven.
Marazona will be greatly missed, and is survived by many who love her dearly including her husband - Rikki Loree, her three children - Hunter Cordell, Haeven Cordell, and Rikki Loree Junior, her parents - Ricky (Vickie) Brown, her brother - Tommy(Donita) Riddle, her brother - Jason(April) Riddle, her best-friend – Cassandra Johnson, and countless others.
