Malvin "Sandy" Wagnon

Malvin ""Sandy"" Wagnon, Jr., age 62, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family and friends on Tuesday, October 4, 2011.
Mr. Wagnon served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne as a paratrooper from 1967-1970. He also served with the Lizana Volunteer Fire & Rescue since 1978. He was a member at Campground Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Wagnon. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Brenda Wagnon; 2 sons, Robert (Kendra) Necaise and Malvin (Tammy) Wagnon III, both of Lizana; 2 daughters, Michelle Necaise Beech of Kiln and Linda (John) McDaniel of Lizana; 4 grandchildren, Larry Beech of Kiln, Morgan Necaise, Hayley Wagnon, and Ashley Wagnon, all of Lizana; sisters, Elaine (Paul) Summers of Gulfport, Jane (Murray) Roeske of Three Rivers, TX and Jean (Steve) Dunn of Broken Arrow, OK; brothers, James (Debbie) Wagnon of Ashville, NC, and Steve Wagnon of Gulfport; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank Odyssey Hospice for the special care given.
Visitation will be from 6 until 9 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Highwy 49 Chapel of RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME in Gulfport.
The Funeral Service will be on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Campground Baptist Church on Highway 53. Visitation will be one hour prior in the church.
Burial with military honors will follow at Wolf River Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Larry Beech, Chuck Necaise, John McDaniel, Dale Summers, Rene Darby, Robert Grissom, Jarrod Moree and Brandon Necaise.
