Madonna Landry Boos (March 23, 1932-December 4, 2023) lived an amazing 91 years and passed peacefully from this life to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on December 4, 2023, at home with her family.
Madonna was preceded in death by her father Anatole Landry, mother Emily Chauvin Landry Schwarzenbach, stepfather Robert Schwarzenbach and two sisters, Shirley Geagan and Barbara Navarre.
Madonna is survived by her loving husband of 72 years Gerard “Jerry” Boos Sr, her brother, Robert “Buddy” Landry, seven children, Jerry Jr. (June), Yvonne Garcia (Philip), Donna Roth (Mike), Mary Klein (Frank), Jeff Boos (Lisa), Dave Boos (Paula), Annie Ladner (Brad). Madonna was most proud of her 20 grandchildren and 46 great grandchildren whom she loved most dearly.
Madonna loved helping people enjoying her years as the owner of “The Unique Shop” in Waveland. Family was everything to Madonna and she cherished the time whenever she got to talk or visit with her family. Madonna and her loving husband love to travel especially with family and friends. For 37 years Hawaii became their second home.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Mass Thursday, December 7, 2023, at 11 AM at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis. A reception will immediately follow at the community center of Our Lady of the Gulf.
