Madeline Mary Breen, age 85, of Bay St. Louis, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday, November 15, 2010.
She was a native of New Orleans and was a true southern lady who deeply loved life and her family. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Breen was preceded in death byher husband, Geoge William Breen, a son, John Anthony Breen, and her parents, John Berni and Jennie Cuoco Berni.
Survivors include a son, Berni Patrick Breen and his wife, Elsie, a daughter, Elizabeth Breen, a daughter-in-law, Denice Breen, 5 grandchildren, Harvey Timberlake, Jason Breen, Mark Breen, Steven Breen, and Katie Jennings, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Thursday at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Pass Road, Biloxi with visitation from 9:30 until mass at 10 am.
Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Hospice Compassius for their loving gentle guidance for our mom's final journey. Memorials may be sent to Hospice Compassus, 141 Highway 90, Waveland, MS 39576.
