Mack Lloyd Williamson

Mack Lloyd Williamson, age 94, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Jeanette Shaw Williamson, his only son, Roger M. Williamson and his wife Jo, his only grandson, David E. Williamson and his wife Julie, his great-granddaughter, Lauren N. Williamson, and his sister, Reva Graves.
Mr. Williamson served his country in World War II in the U.S. Navy, was honorably discharged in 1946 and began his career as a civil servant with the Veterans Administration Hospital, retiring after 34 years of service.
His love and passion of the sport basketball led Mack to becoming a well respected basketball official/referee along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where he is credited with officiating over 3000 high school and junior college games during a 25 year time period.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Arthur C. Sproles and his staff for the many years of Professional and loving care they gave to Mack.
The visitation will be on Thursday, February 19, 2015, from 10 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport. A prayer service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
