Mable Bone

Mable Rebecca Bone, 90, of Gulfport, passed from this life on October 19, 2011 at her home in Gulfport.
Ms. Bone was born October 2, 1921, in Harrison County where she has been a long time resident. Mable was a faithful, lifetime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Northwood Hills. She was one of the founding members of St. Joseph and a member of the St. Joseph Guild.
She retired from the Mississippi Power Company after 35 years of service. She held positions of stenographer, bookkeeper, accounting assistant and administrative specialist in the Finance Office. Mable was a member of the Power Outages. She received Life Retirement Membership with the National Management Association.
Ms. Bone was preceded in death by her father, David Bone; mother, Sarah Dedeaux Bone; sisters, Thelma Bone and Mrs. Herman (Carrie) Smith; brothers, Phillip, Clarence and George Bone. She will be missed by her friends, family and many cousins.
The visitation will be on Saturday, October 22, 2011 from 9:00 am until 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Depew Road, in Gulfport, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery, Gulfport, MS.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 12290 Depew Road Gulfport, MS 39503-2725
