Mabele Irene Lacy

Mabele Irene Lacy, Sis to all that knew her, joined her heavenly family Saturday, August 29, 2020, earning her angel wings at 97 years of age.

A life-long resident of Long Beach, Sis lived in Poplarville, MS at South MS Regional Center where she was given exceptional care and love for many years. Irene was preceded in death by her father, W V. Lacy; her mother, Ida Lacy; and her siblings, Tom Lacy, Andy Lacy and Carol Giuffria. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She lived a happy life and her smile and laugh were infectious. She was entertained easily and loved to draw and color. If and when you had the pleasure to see her, she would be loving on a baby doll and she would proudly show you all her jewelry, wearing a ring on every finger.

A private graveside service for family and interment next to her parents at Long Beach City Cemetery will be held on a date to be determined.
