M. Wilda Green, age 79, resident of Gulfport, died on Sunday, August 19, 2007, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Green was born and raised in the Lizana community and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was retired from Answer Inc. where she worked as manager, and she was a longtime member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport where she served on the Altar Society. She was truly loved by all and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her husband, O.R. """"Doc"""" Green; her sister, Doris Long; and her brother, Howard Dedeaux.
She is survived by her four sons, Keith Ladner (Joyce) of Floyds Knobs, IN, Doyle Ladner (Linda) of Matthews, NC, Karlon Ladner (Theresa) of Gulfport, and Randy Ladner (Janet) of Gulfport; five grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 22, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church in Gulfport. Friends may visit one hour prior to Mass. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery next to her husband.
The family prefers memorials to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 2414 17th Street, Gulfport, MS 39501.
