MSgt William Manning, retired, U. S. Air Force, age 42, of Biloxi, passed away on March 28, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Manning.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Manning; his daughter, Amanda Manning; his son, Robert Manning; his mother, Rita Manning; his sister, Aileen Price and her sons, Benjamin and Nathaniel; his brothers, Phil Manning and John Manning and his wife, Linda, and their daughters, Madison and Marissa. He is also survived by his wife's parents, Phayoong and Barry Johnson; his wife's sister, Lisa Brown, and her husband, Scott, and their children, Nicholas, Tylor, and Randy.
Mr. Manning was born on May 23, 1966 in Framingham, MA to parents, Rita and Jack Manning. He attended Ashland High School and graduated in 1984. He entered the United States Air Force in January, 1985 and retired in January, 2005 as a Master Sergeant. He served at bases in Florida, New Mexico, Germany, Texas, Guam, and Kessler AFB, MS (twice). After retirement, William worked at Biloxi Regional Hospital as a radiologist.
William loved all sports, especially soccer, football, and fishing. He enjoyed casino gambling. He possessed an infectious smile and fun loving personality and was loved by all who knew him.

The visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Rd, Biloxi. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 1:15 PM, April 1, 2009 at the funeral home chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
