Lynda Faye Lorenzana, 62, of Gulfport, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2010.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, H.J. Ladner and Elsie Lott; her sister, Janice L. Glenn; and her long time friend, Allen Sefton.
Ms. Lorenzana is survived by her children, Robert F. Lorenzana, Jr. of Gulfport and Faye (Ethan) Abercrombie of McHenry; her sisters, Patricia Jones of Gulfport and childhood friend Mary Peterson of Long Beach;her step brothers, Robert Stevens of Gulfport, Rodney Stevens of Long Beach, John Stevens of Bay St. Louis; her step sister, Rhonda Hill of Long Beach; her grandchildren, Cortney Leanne Northrup, Ethan Hunter Abercrombie, Hannah Faith Abercrombie, Breanna Nicole Abercrombie all of McHenry; two god daughters; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
She was a great mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who helped many people through the years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Gulfport.
A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 11 a.m. with a visitation two hours prior to the funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on 17th Street in Gulfport. Interment will follow the funeral mass at Long Beach City Cemetery.
