Lynda Ruby Cowart Ladner

Lynda Ruby Cowart Ladner, age 67, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at her home.
Mrs. Ladner was born in Harrison County to the late Norman and Idell Hurst Cowart. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi, was a former employee of the Harrison County School System, and worked in the family business as office manager. She loved to go fishing, and was a member of First Baptist Church of Orange Grove. She was most happy when she was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for being the most loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, William Nall Ladner, III; and brother, Floyd Cowart.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, William Nall Ladner, Jr. of Gulfport; children, Sherri Bryant of Gulfport, and Becky Looney and her husband Paul of Gulfport; daughter-in-law, Lisa Ladner; sisters, Delores Knee of Saucier, and Juanita Barnett of Saucier; brother, Ray Cowart of Saucier; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at 2 pm at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, where friends may visit 2 hours prior to services. Burial will follow at Finley Cemetery.
