He was preceded in death by his parents, A.B. and Stella Ladner Powell and his sisters, Susan and Gloria Powell.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Margarita Nery Powell, his brothers and sisters, Allen Powell (LouAnn), Nadine Ross, Cathy Powell and Jimmy Powell (Susana), sisters and brother-in-laws, Magali, Yaneli, Minerva, Jelvi, Morelva and Nela, and other relatives and friends.
Born on November 14, 1948 in Biloxi, MS , he worked as a Custodian and was a U.S. Army veteran.
A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday August 14, 2018 at 11AM at St. Joseph Church 12290 Depew Rd Gulfport. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 11280 Three Rivers Rd Gulfport is serving the family. www.riemannfamily.com
